Anoka Family Photographer | Dunham Family

A little while back I ran a contest on Facebook for my friends and fans that shared my page with their friends. I randomly drew the name from the group and the Dunham family was the lucky winners of the free session! Kacie is such a doll with an awesome, spunky little personality. We were running all over the studio snapping shots here and there. She posed herself and even moved the furniture around! Seriously adorable. One new thing you will see from me, as of last fall, is that whenever both parents are present at a session I will force them to take a photo together. Just the two of them. I like the thought that they can have a special time in their lives captured and see how far they have come. Plus, I know their kids will love seeing those photos of their parents when they are older. So future clients, beware!

Minneapolis Cake Smash Photographer | Asa & Bennett are ONE!!

These two handsome little men were born at the same hospital, just a day apart to two good friends of mine. Aren't they so stinken cute?! I was very thankful that their Moms (both talented photographers themselves) let me have some messy fun with them to celebrate their first birthdays. We even finished off their cake smash session with a little bubble bath action. Again, so cute!

Looking at pictures of this adorable group makes me long for Fall and those beautiful colors. Don't get me wrong, the snow is gorgeous and magical but there is just something about Fall that can't be beat.

One thing I love about photographing children this age is the funny little personalities! Some are quiet and shy, others are loud and outgoing and everywhere in between. Personally I was quiet and shy. Very shy. Ask my mother, she'll just laugh. 

Tia, in her adorable little pigtails, reminded me a lot of myself. Quiet and very funny. She was my fast friend, such a doll. And Cali, the spitting image of her mother, is spunky and full of energy. That girl had me chasing her all over the park! (I secretly loved it.)

 I'm going to force their mother to bring them in soon so we can play in the studio. 

(Just say yes Shannon. It must be done.)
